Collaboration, it seems, is the art of the unexpected and the inexplicable.

Strong threads of common interest are important. The idea is, of course, both challenging and appealing, offering an opportunity for a type of liberation, a possible new visual language.

It can be daunting, because it’s personal - there is a lot of give and take, and I had to adjust to the idea that maybe I was taking more than I was giving. But in a practical sense, the give and take is unmeasurable. I like to think that the synergy has brought about some artworks that neither Ros nor I could have created without the other: a true collaboration...
